A Trip to the Lake

Callaway Gardens

Today we visited Callaway Gardens. Since we couldn't stay, we only saw the gardens and the butterfly conservatory. The garden was so big with a waterfall in the center. Alivia was fascinated with everything she saw. I couldn't believe how beautiful all the flowers were. The butterfly conservatory was the neatest thing though. There were hundreds of butterflies and theyactually landed on the tourist walking through. It was almost like a giant greenhouse with a lot of the same flowers and trees as in the gardens. This would be the perfect place to go when family was visiting...I wish we would've found it sooner!

FINALLY...Alivia makes a STAND!

Everyone knows how long we've been waiting for this baby to become mobile. Well, the time has come! It looks like she'll only put on her best if you bribe her with cereal but..whatever works. Again, this was very random. She hasn't really attempted to pull herself up on anything, however tonight was her lucky night. Now, she's a PRO!

Little Laughin Livi

This was caught completely out of the blue! It's not "what" you do to make her laugh, it's just "how" you do it! I love her giggle so much..it's so contagious!! There's talking in the background because Joe was filming AND talking to his dad on the phone.

She's a "Swingin'" Sensation

I love when Alivia helps me with chores around the house. Doing laundry gets very overwhelming, so when clothes need to be folded Alivia is the first on the job. I started out trying to film her helping me but got lucky and captured her trying to stand. At ten months and 1 day old, baby Alivia is finally motivated to move.

A Sunday Stroll

One of Alivia's favorite things is going to the park. We try to go as often as we can. Not only does she enjoy strolling around, but she's also fascinated with ducks and geese.

Daddy's Girl

It was shocking enough when Alivia started to say "mamamamama" for the first time about 2 months ago. However, no one was in for this surprise! As Joe played with Alivia on the floor today ( May 3), a sudden
" dadadadadada" broke the silence. I can't believe how much she learns everyday! (Of course Joe is ecstatic)

The Koontz Family Visit

Although Easter brings many gifts that baby Alivia may not understand yet, she sure understands what "Grandparents are coming for you" means! Easter weekend, we were able to celebrate the holiday with family and a giant ham which I (Holly) cooked myself! Not only did her grandpap bring lots of love but came baring gifts!

Visiting the Atlanta Aquarium

This whole trip was based off an idea I (Holly) had for a pet. During a trip to the pet store with Alivia, I stumbled upon some 99 cent goldfish. Being a little cheap, I thought that was the perfect idea for a pet. A week later it died. Alivia was devastated. Instead of buying another fish...and another fish..and another fish, a trip to the aquarium was cheaper( in the long run).
